Rock Show Promotions is a promotion team dedicated to providing quality
services for NYC rock bands at an affordable rate. Having been a part of the
downtown music scene for eight years, we know what it¡Çs like to run the
gammat of getting people to your show, promoting your sound and trying to
get press on your own. We also know that your musicians, not publicists.
Usually the luxury of a promotion team is offered to those lucky enough to
sign on with a label willing to shell out some major cash. That¡Çs why
we¡Çve come up with a menu of pick and choose services to promote your
show/band at the least possible cost to you.
We work with a team of freelance street teamers, designers and
photographers who are also familiar with the scene and talented at what they
do. We all have a passion for music and are lucky enough to have collective
experience in marketing, writing, promotions, public relations, photography
and styling. We can create a full six-month promotional plan including band
photos, press kits, media mailers and band bio, I we can simply place the
poster for your next show in downtown venues. You can choose from our menu
of individual services, or we can work with you to create a custom package.

Basic Services Menu
Street Team $75
This is our most popular service. For a $75 flat fee we will send our street
team out to poster fifty downtown bars, coffee shops, and record stores with
your band poster, hand cards and any promotional CD¡Çs you may want to hand
out. We suggest using this service one week before your show.
Poster Design $150
One of our professional graphic designers will design a basic band poster
for you. The great thing about this service is that it¡Çs done so that you
can re-use the poster over and over for all your shows or until you¡Çre sick
of the design.
Press Release and Media E-Mailing $75
We will write a professional press release for you and send it out to at
least fifteen media sources via email. The hard copy is yours to keep to
send via mail, tweak and re-use for future mailings. This is one of our
fortes because we really work with you to find the pitch in your show
announcement, CD release or special event. We know what editors are looking
for because our writer used to be one.
Band Photos
The cost of band photos varies on your need. Whether you want digital
photos, prints, and how many shots you want. We assure you though, that the
price is great and our photographers are amazing. We almost always use Todd
Kancar -- you can see his work at www.kankar.com
Written Bio $150
We will write your band bio for use on your Website, media kits, and in
material you send to labels.
*Other services including media kit creations, professional styling, and
custom packages can be explored in a one on one free consultation.
